Description:

We are actively looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team as our Lead Solar Project Manager, primarily focusing on solar projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other Project Managers from the Facilities Team and Construction Services Team to ensure the seamless execution of projects, ensuring their successful completion. This candidate will also be heavily involved in the continued client management and business development in our Renewable Energy Market. This candidate will be the main point of contact for many of our Solar and Renewable Energy clients.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Maintain and build client relationships through active project management and communication.

- Prepare conceptual solutions and cost pro formas for prospective projects/clients.

- Complete modeling and layouts for solar projects

- Perform site visits and surveys

- Manage project teams in the design, permitting, and construction of solar projects

- Schedule and track budgets between multiple disciplines

- Prepare budgets and proposals for new projects

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the solar market

- Bachelor of Science (B. S.) degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering

- Experience with solar design and permitting in PA, NJ, and NY.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings

- Knowledge of computers and related renewables modeling software such as Helioscope, PVsyst

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues to solve complex engineering problems

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

They will be able to effectively manage project teams, maintain and build strong client relationships, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
